Direct,don't do.

Your job is to decide what good looks like, and let the machine reach it.

/ The principle
The work is the deciding.

The Blank Collar's first move is a demotion of doing and a promotion of directing. The producing, the processing, the chasing of updates: the work that used to define you is what agents now do faster, cheaper, and without fatigue.

What remains is harder and worth more: setting the intent, framing the problem, and the final call on the result. Directing is not stepping back. It is stepping up, becoming the editor of a thousand drafts you never had to write, accountable for taste and outcome rather than keystrokes.

One human directs; many agents act.
/ How it shows up

In practice.

Routine output belongs to machines. The verdict belongs to you.
