The Blank Collar · Kristian Kabashi · about 1 min

Kristian Kabashi has spent close to two decades on both sides of the scale this book measures. He has sat in the global leadership of a multinational employing more than a hundred thousand people, and he has built and scaled three companies of his own. Two of them earned industry recognition. He has run transformation from inside a giant, and he has made payroll in a company nobody had heard of yet. It is that pair of vantage points that lets this book measure a giant and build a single person on the same page.

This is not a book of case studies about other people. The patterns in these pages are ones he has run, watched, handed over, and in more than one case gotten wrong before he got right. In 2023 he published his first framework for this transition, and then reality took it apart; chapter eight shows which parts broke and why. He has changed his mind about his own ideas in public, which is the only reason he trusts the ones in this book.

The public claims in this book are checkable against their sources, and the author is checkable too: his record is public at kristiankabashi.com. Identifying details in the stories have been reduced or combined to keep the focus on the operating pattern. The author is not anonymized at all.
